Hello! I wanted to share a conversation with the Good Neighbors Time Bank called "Reuniting the Country". The Phoenixville Area Time Bank had a conversation about "Getting Back to 'Us'. How do we do it?" on December 10. Since this conversation took place we have started discussions with local non-profit and activist groups about having deeper conversations like this and bridging some of the societal gaps in understanding.
The recorded conversation is about 2 hours and the activity might take an hour. Please limit to 3 Time Bank members.
The Fellowship Circle conversation may be viewed on YouTube at this page: https://roguecounselor.com/2020/12/30/reuniting-the-country/
I will compensate you for all time spent viewing this conversation which may be viewed at your leisure. I will also compensate for your time answering these questions posed during the Fellowship Circle:
1. Who is a friend proven to “always have your back”? Tell us a brief story which defined that relationship.
2. Reuniting the Country: From your past experiences, what do you believe is at the heart of the problem with the country? What emotions do you experience reflecting on it?
3. What do you see your role as when approaching the problem? What are you most passionate about?
4. If you were to initiate a Fellowship of 3-5 people, what topic would you want to focus on?
OPTIONAL HOMEWORK: Getting Back to Us: How do we do it?
Six Principles for Collaboration:
1. Generous Listening
2. Committed (Action-Oriented) Speaking
3. Curiosity
4. Coachability
5. Energy Awareness
6. Mutuality
How have you practiced one or more of these principles in viewing tonight’s Fellowship? What principles have you observed others practicing this evening? How have you practiced these principles by participating in this exercise?
To redeem hours and send answers to the activity, email [email protected].
